Restorative Dentistry
Endodontic Therapy, also known as "Root Canal Therapy"
Pre-operative:
Contaminated pulp tissue is removed from the pulp cavity.
Intra-operative:
The pulp cavity is then sanitized and filled with biologically inert filling preventing further bacterial contamination of surrounding bone.
Post-operative:

A restoration is placed and the tooth reshaped.
